Refunds & Returns Policy

Returns:

Customer experience is our number one priority; therefore, we are pleased to offer a 30-day return / and or exchange policy on most items sold by shopforest.net. Due to the nature of some items that are sold by shopforest.net, such items may only be returned / and or exchanged within 14 days. The Return timeframe is based on the date that the item was delivered.  If you (the purchaser) will be initiating a return / and or exchange, please do not send the item back to the manufacturer. To be eligible for a return/ and or exchange, your item must be unused or in the same condition that you received it; the item must also be in its original packaging along with any accessories and manuals supplied with the product. Though we appreciate your business and value our customers; if 30 days (14 days for applicable items) have surpassed since the date that the item was delivered, we will be unable to offer a refund or exchange. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

 

shopforest will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:

  • The product is faulty or is not of merchantable quality, or
  • The product is not fit for its intended purpose, or
  • The product does not match the sample or our description

Please note, the vast majority of products sold by shopforest.net are electronic / and or electrical. shopforest may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. If the product is determined to be faulty, not of merchantable quality, not fit for purpose or not matching a description or sample, shopforest will offer a repair, exchange, return, or refund.

 

Operating Difficulties:

If you are experiencing operating difficulties with electrical, electronic or other similar products we recommend you first contact us, before returning the product. Many operating difficulties can be quickly solved with the right advice.

 

Refunds:

Delivery Based Refunds

We strive to make sure that products are processed, shipped and delivered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, shipping errors, and/or issues with customs are a possibility.

If 45 days have passed and you have not received your item you will be issued a no-hassle, worry-free refund. In the event that the item is delivered while the refund process has started, we will not attempt to retract the refund, however, we do ask that the buyer leave positive feedback.

 

International Buyers:

International buyers are eligible for refunds on most items. It may cost more for the buyer to ship the item to America; thus, we will allow the buyer to keep the item, however, a 20% restocking fee will be subtracted from the refund balance. Please note, some countries require a customs fee to be paid before an item is delivered. We will not issue delivery-based refunds in the event that the customer has declined to pay or is unaware of their country’s customs fees.

 

All other refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund in whole or partial.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or the original method of payment, usually within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that Jewel of The Nile Ecommerce cannot dictate or control bank processing times. Some banks could take longer than 3 to 5 business days to process the refund request.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If 30 days have passed and you haven’t received a refund yet, we recommend contacting your bank first.

If you have made your purchase with a credit card, please contact your credit card company, as in some cases, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Deals (if applicable)

Where you seek a refund for any item that was purchased as part of a ‘deal’, shopforest may refund the price in accordance with deal eligibility. No refund will be given on free items and any refund amount may be recalculated if your return results in deal eligibility no longer being met.

 

Gifts (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, in which they may find out about your return.

 

Shipping:

You (the buyer) will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs of the item(s) that you (the buyer) intend to return. Please be aware that Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are eligible to receive a refund, and shopforest has paid the cost of the return shipping, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Items that are ordered outside ofworldshopin.com or through one of our affiliate links may be subject to the return and/or refund policies of the store or business entity that the item is purchased from. shopforest cannot govern or dictate the policies implemented by an affiliate or separate business entity.
